The XXVth International Biometric Conference (IBC-Floripa-2010), organised by the Brazilian Region (RBras) and the Argentinean Region (RArg), will be held in Florianópolis, Brazil at the Culture and Events Center within the main campus of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, UFSC. The main campus is located 7 Km from downtown and 10 Km from the airport. Florianópolis (Floripa) is the state capital of Santa Catarina. It is located mainly on the Island of Santa Catarina in the southern part of Brazil, not far from the borders with both Uruguay and Argentina.
